Although some say that he isn’t the goalkeeper he used to be after his head incident, Petr Cech remains one of the best keepers in the League. Cech has now played over 150 games for Chelsea and it is thanks to him that Chelsea have gone on so many unbeaten runs and kept so many clean sheets.

Cech has won various awards in recognition of his ability including European Goalkeeper of the year in 2005, 2007 and 2008. He was also considered the World’s best goalkeeper in 2005, an honour also held by many greats such as Buffon, Kahn and Schmeichel.
